"Travelling is OK as long as you still have H-1B staus. Your employer refused to pay for the newspaper ad that is required as part of the Labor Certification process. Until that is paid the process cannot move forward. The amount is $666.75 made out to the Detroit News.
I'll be back in the office 4-25.

"The ad that is required as a part of the recruitment process. I'll be working on you file next week and will let you know what remains to be done.
So it would seem that an "oversight" on the part of my "employer" allowed the process to delay to a point in which it was fatal to the process. This process is solely between the Employer and Department of Labor, as such I was not privy to extent of the damage or progress.
Conclusion:
All parties involved in any foreign employment relationship need to be apprised of ALL information at ALL times.
Everything happens for a reason. It just takes us a while to realize what that reason is sometimes.
ReplyDeleteWas there a reason for him not wanting to pay it?
